This week i have been excited to find out about going to Mount Gambia with the after school band. The only problem is it costs alot to go, so we are going to do some fundraising. I'm not sure what we are going to do for raising money, we might raise the money by selling chocolates or busking but that might take a while. If we do raise enough money and go there, we will be playing at a jazz competition, where we will be playing a song called "that funky thing" (its really, really hard).
Being in the afterschool band it so fun, we practise every Thursday after school. It's a challenge because we have to read music quite fast, but it's still fun.
We have been playing the song "peter gun theme song", when playing bass, after playing that song right through it make my hand feel like its falling apart wecause i have to sretch so much.
